Is every spinal cord injury case the same?
No. Even when two people are diagnosed with paraplegia, their experiences can be very different. One person may have partial sensation or some movement, while another may have complete paralysis below a certain level. Some may return to work with accommodations, while others may not be able to continue in the same profession.
A sound case evaluation must be individualized. It should consider the person’s medical condition, age, work history, home environment, support system, goals, and long-term needs.
